After shooting images of their new eco-friendly soup packs which launched earlier this year, Yorkshire Provender wanted some fresh images of their delicious soup in the original pots, which are being used alongside the new packs.
So they asked me to recreate the same styling that we used back in January in my Leeds studio but with the current soup line-up .

The setting was a simple kitchen table set in the studio with natural window light.
The directions for props and styling were definitely in the “less is more” category. Just a few key food ingredients to suggest some of the flavours and the fresh vegetables, herbs and spices that are used back at Yorkshire Provender HQ near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
And a tasty artisan style wholemeal loaf (in this instance, sourced from one of the supermarkets stocking YP soups!).

Daylight photography in the studio can be quite challenging when there is a strong backlighting from the windows. But if this is controlled and the light directed into all the right places then obviously the results can be very natural and produce the natural feel that was being sought here.
The shots are being used on the Yorkshire Provender website, along with the shots of the new Incredible! Pasta Sauce and Meal Pot ranges, and are available for general PR and editorial coverage.
